Police: UNM student found dead Tuesday, died from gunshot wound

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department say Thursday that the death of a University of New Mexico student was from a gunshot wound.
Police found 26-year-old Juan Romero dead on the sidewalk near Central and Stanford Tuesday morning. His death is being investigated as a murder.
Officers have not released any additional details only saying that they are looking for surveillance video that may show what happened.
