Police: Shots fired were not directed at landing balloons

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department says officers are on scene after an off duty officer reported hearing shots fired as balloons were landing in northwest Albuquerque.
Police say the shots were fired near 2500 Coors NW. At this time, officers on scene say it appears that no actual shots were fired at any balloons. Instead, they say the shots were heard being fired in the area.
