Police search for missing “bow tie” memorial art display

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – Las Cruces Police are asking for the public’s help finding a bow tie. But it’s not just any bow tie. It’s a work of art dedicated to a former city councilor.
The roughly 6-foot by 3-foot “memorial bow tie” represents the ties worn by Miguel Silva, a Las Cruces councilor who died in January.
The red, white and blue, fiberglass memorial was hung at a park in his district.
