Police: Las Cruces man urinated on ex-wife during attack

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) – Las Cruces police are searching for a man authorities said urinated on his former wife before attempting to strangle her.
Dona Ana County Magistrate Court issued an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Jeffery Halona following a bizarre fight at a Las Cruces apartment on Thursday.
According to police, the 24-year-old woman had allowed Halona stay at her apartment for a few days though the pair had been divorced since 2014.
