Police investigating suspicious device in southeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department says officers are currently on scene at the corner of Garfield and Bryn Mawr in response to a suspicious device.
APD says officers are currently assessing the item to determine if it contains any explosive material.
Traffic into the intersection is being diverted and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
