Police identify suspect shot, killed by officers on I-25

SOCORRO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Socorro County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was shot and killed by state officers on Thursday as 25-year-old Daniel Navarro from San Diego, California.
The shooting happened south of Socorro on the highway around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
Police say they suspect the SUV he was in was stolen and connected to an armed robbery that happened in Albuquerque earlier that day. It stopped in the middle of the southbound lanes after a 12-mile cha
