Police ask public to help ID suspect in mailbox theft

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is seeking the public’s help in catching thieves that broke into mailboxes and stole information from two New Mexico residents.
The suspect has purchased thousands of dollars with fake ID’s and fraud credit cards, according to police.
Officers say it all started with a break in of a mailbox that had sensitive information in it. Since then, numerous fake accounts were opened up in their name.
