PNM and Xcel Energy prepare for potential power outages during high winds

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – PNM is planning to keep a close eye on windy conditions on Thursday. The electric utility said the expected 60 mile-an-hour wind gusts could cause power outages from broken tree limbs or other damage, especially in eastern New Mexico.
