Pedestrian killed in I-40 motor vehicle accident

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police closed I-40 between Wyoming and Eubank for a pedestrian crash Saturday night.
Police say that all eastbound lanes were closed after a pedestrian was struck by two vehicles.
It is unclear at this point why the pedestrian was on the freeway, but police say that at some point he entered the far right lane where was struck by two vehicles. The pedestrian died at the scene. The identification of the pedestrian has not been released.
