Pecos pupfish proposed for Endangered Species Act protection

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The feds are proposing protections for a tiny desert-dwelling fish native to the Pecos River basin of New Mexico. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced plans to list the Pecos pupfish as a threatened species.
