Ortiz, Sartans rip Miyamura; Eldorado beat Trojans

The St. Pius Sartans celebrated homecoming Saturday at Milne Stadium. Drew Ortiz provided the entertainment.
Ortiz passed for four touchdowns, ran 75 yards for another and threw in a jaw-dropping hurdle for good measure as the Sartans (5-0) took a 38-15 victory over Miyamura (3-2).
St. Pius’ junior quarterback completed 12 of 19 passes for 293 yards and rushed 21 times for 101 yards. The latter total would have been greater had Ortiz not been sacked four times.
