One acre fire reported in Paliza Canyon, 100% contained

PONDEROSA, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe Forest Service responded to a reported fire in Paliza Canyon near Ponderosa just north of Jemez Pueblo on Saturday.
Julie Anne Overton, acting public affairs officer with the Santa Fe National Forest tells KRQE News that the fire burned approximately one acre but has been 100 percent contained.
The fire wass on the mesa top in Paliza Canyon off Forest Road 266 northeast of the Paliza Campground and a mile west of the Ponderosa Christian Camp
