OAKLAND, Calif. (KRQE) – Officials in Oakland, California, say the death toll from a fire in a converted warehouse has risen to 24.
Officials said an investigation had been in place for weeks into a warehouse that burned Friday night in Oakland, California, during an electronic music party. Investigators were looking into whether people were living there illegally.
Alameda County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Kelly says there are more bodies trapped in the debris.
