Northeast Albuquerque SWAT situation ends with suspect in custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department SWAT teams were called out to an apartment complex near Chelwood Park and Mountain due to a barricaded subject.
Officers originally responded to a domestic violence call at that location Sunday morning. SWAT teams were called in because the subject was refusing to follow police commands, according to APD.
Part of Chelwood Park Blvd was closed off while police were on scene.
