NMSU mulls student housing options for incoming freshmen

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – Incoming freshmen at New Mexico State University may soon be required to live on campus.
The university officials approved a resolution Friday that would require incoming freshmen to live in student housing for one year. There’s still talk about possible exemptions but the NMSU president says this could open the door for the university to enter into public-private partnerships with companies for more on-campus housing.
