NMSP identify victims in Belen fatal shooting

BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) – On Sunday, New Mexico State Police (NMSP) released the names of the four victims from Saturday's homicide in Belen. Police said that 16-year-old Diego Leyva called 911 early Saturday morning and told the dispatcher he had killed his family.NMSP says Leyva's father, 42-year-old Leonardo Leyva, his 35-year-old mother Adriana Bencomo, a 16-year-old brother, and a 14-year-old brother were killed by suspected gunshot wounds. A handgun was located on the kitchen table.
