NMDOT and DPS receive $7.5M to improve road safety in state

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) –  The New Mexico Department of Transportation is receiving millions of dollars to support the state's effort to reduce traffic-related deaths. NMDOT and the Department of Public Safety are getting $7.5 million from the National Highway Transportation Safety Association to fund the state's Target Zero program.
