New tenant approved for vacant New Mexico school building

SANTA FE (KRQE) – It’s been vacant for years, but now the old Kaune Elementary School will house a new tenant.
According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, the Santa Fe School Board has approved a $3.1 million deal with the United Way of Santa Fe County.
It’s a move that will expand early childhood education and help fund future projects.
The facility will serve between 180 and 200 children,  ages 6-weeks to 5-years-old, year round.
