New program helps New Mexicans repair, replace failing septic systems

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Environment Department launched a program to help low-income homeowners repair and replace failing septic systems. The Liquid Waste Assistance Fund has $200,000 available to address 12 septic systems. Applications for assistance will be accepted through October 2 at 5 p.m.Story continues below
