New Mexico shocks 18/19-Washington State 38-35

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – For the first time since 2003, the New Mexico Lobos football team has a victory against a ranked opponent.
The Lobos outscored 18/19-Washington State 24-7 in the second half on their way to a 38-35 victory at University Stadium Saturday night. The victory came on senior night and was one the Lobos had to have to keep their bowl hopes alive. The victory improved New Mexico's record to 5-6, one win away from reaching bowl eligibility.
