New Mexico rated among worst states for education again

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – New Mexico has once again been rated one of the worst states in the country for education. The state received a D in a new national report released by Education Week.
New Mexico’s overall grade was slightly higher than last year’s D-minus but its 49th ranking remains unchanged.
The report grades states on how well they prepare students for college, finances and student achievements.
Nevada and Mississippi tied for last.
