New Mexico PED agrees to end gag rule for testing
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The rule that prohibits New Mexico Public Education Department employees from “disparaging” standardized tests will be removed.
The announcement comes months after the ACLU filed a free speech lawsuit against the PED on behalf of four Albuquerque elementary school teachers, a special education teacher in Santa Fe, and an Albuquerque parent.
