New Mexico organizations collaborate on goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – 26 state and local organizations teamed up to help New Mexico reach its goal of net zero emissions by 2050. The New Mexico Building Decarbonization Roadmap offers recommendations for consumers and contractors to help limit greenhouse gas emissions and pollution from residential and small commercial buildings. The roadmap says the state currently does not have the framework to make that happen so it lays out what businesses and residents can do to help.
