New Mexico man arrested for shooting neighbor’s cat

HOBBS, N.M. – A Hobbs man is being charged with animal cruelty after allegedly shooting his neighbor’s cat.
Police arrested 45-year-old James Adams after the cat’s owner told them she let “Frank” outside and when he didn’t come back, she went looking for him.
She says she found the cat bleeding from the head in her front yard. The cat later died.
According to the Hobbs News-Sun, a blood trail was found leading to Adams’ house.
