New Mexico man arrested after officer-involved shooting

GRANTS, N.M. (KRQE) – Police were involved in a shooting on Sunday.
It happened at about 8:55 Sunday night when New Mexico State Police officers were dispatched to the scene of a stolen vehicle. After arriving on scene, police say the suspect fled the area and failed to yield to police.
Police were in pursuit of the suspect when the driver struck a police car. Police say the suspect also struck a Cibola County Deputy with the vehicle.
