New Mexico Democrat leader unsure on GOP driver’s license fix

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – New Mexico House Minority Leader Brian Egolf says he’s not ready to support a GOP-sponsored proposal creating a “two-tier” driver’s license system modeled after Utah.
The Santa Fe Democrat said this week he’s awaiting details on a plan to grant driving privilege cards for immigrants – even those suspected of living in the country illegally.
