New Mexicans call on president to recognize how Trinity Test hurt community

TULAROSA, N.M. (KRQE) – People living in Tularosa where the first atomic bomb was tested are calling on the president to come visit their town.
This comes after President Obama recently announced plans to visit Hiroshima, the city in Japan where the U.S. dropped a devastating atomic bomb.
Obama will be the first sitting U.S. president to visit the city.
