New details released in carjacking that led to deadly police shooting

SOCORRO, N.M. (KRQE) – Police say an iPad helped lead them to the carjacked vehicle involved in Thursday’s deadly police shooting on  I-25.
Police say the suspect carjacked someone at knife-point in Albuquerque near 6th and Central at about 11:15 a.m. on Thursday.
Albuquerque Police say the victim was standing at an ATM when he was confronted. The suspect then pulled out a knife and took of in the man’s SUV, cutting his hand in the process.
