National data breach compromises voter information

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An investigation is underway to figure out how the personal information of millions of American voters was exposed during a massive data breach.
Security researchers have discovered a data file containing the personal information of 191 million voters left unsecured online.
The database includes voters’ names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, political affiliations and voting history since the year 2000.
