National Champion Lobos honored with plaque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Thursday morning Mayor Mayor Richard J. Berry unveiled a plaque to commemorate the 2015 national champion University of New Mexico Women’s Cross country team. The plaque is located on a large boulder on a trail at the Rio Grande Nature Center.
It is a great honor for the program, but even more so for the women that achieved this feat last season.
