Music program empowers Albuquerque middle school students

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A unique program at an Albuquerque Public Schools middle school is empowering students as they become talented rockers.
It’s called Rock and Rhythm and was founded 20 years ago. To this day, it’s still taught by Robb Janov.
Janov created the program after noticing something unsettling — while most kids love music, only a small percentage sing up for music class in school.
