Mother and daughter team sewing for the brave

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A local mother and daughter are saluting our first responders and military in a very unique way using a needle and thread.
The idea of creating Sew Brave has been a long time coming for Cassie Wootton and Debbie Sprague. It wasn’t until recently that they began using their sewing abilities to salute our heroes.
“They’re out there every single day risking their lives for us and they deserve to be respected,” said Wootton.
