Memorials planned for 15th anniversary of 9/11

NEW YORK (KRQE) – Sunday marks the 15th anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks when a hijacked plane slammed into the World Trade Center, killing nearly 3,000 people.
President Barack Obama will travel to the Pentagon to address a memorial service. Before that, he will observe a private moment of silence at the White House at 8:46 a.m. ET. That is when the first plane hit the North tower.
