Memorial Day celebrations honor fallen heroes

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Monday, across America people will remember loved ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Memorial Day is the day we remember those who never made it home, those who never had the chance to take off the uniform.
This is a day to stop and reflect on the sacrifice of American families who for generations have made our country a more prosperous and free one.
Remembering and honoring them is a responsibility that all of us share as citizens
