McClure Fire burning five acres in Santa Fe National Forest

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe National Forest officials say they are responding to reports of a fire burning approximately five acres in the wilderness portion of the Santa Fe Municipal Watershed.
The McClure Fire is burning in the Española Ranger District two miles from Hyde State Park and is on the boundary of the Pecos Wilderness.
Fire officials say potential for growth is high because the area is on the edge of the wilderness and has not been treated with thinn
