Math teachers flock to New Mexico for national convention

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Hundreds of math teachers are flocking to New Mexico.
They’re putting their heads to together to solve a common problem. The 700 educators from more than 30 states are here to learn how to make math more entertaining.
“We are really focusing on how to engage and excite students in the classroom and how to foster and support a love of learning for math, something that shouldn’t be dreaded or hated,” said Martha Riecks, Director of MidSchoolMath.
