Man who pleaded guilty to drunk driving killing to be sentenced

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A drunk driver who killed a University of New Mexico student and former high school football player will learn his sentence Friday. It’s a day the family has been preparing for, a long time.
It’s been nearly a year since Robert Lucero drove drunk and hit 19-year-old Jacob Salazar head on killing him. It happened last January on Coors near Las Estancias.
