Man dies in explosion at custom auto shop in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) – Authorities say a man died in an industrial accident Saturday at a custom automobile shop in Las Cruces.
The Dona Ana County sheriff’s detectives say Joseph Suder was reportedly using ether to mount a large tire onto a 400-pound rim when an explosion happened.
The 30-year-old Suder was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the state Office of the Medical Examiner in Albuquerque for an autopsy.
