Man arrested after opening fire in Belen gas station

BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) – State police say a man walked into a Belen gas station and opened fire. Police say a man entered this Giant gas station in Belen and started shooting before 9 o’clock Wednesday night. He didn’t appear to aim for anything since the bullets hit the roof and other items in the store.
Police say the man was threatening to commit suicide when they took him into custody.
No one was injured in the incident.
