Macy’s celebrates 90th year of the Thanksgiving parade

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. (AP) – New York’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is about to begin Thursday.
Giant balloons like Charlie Brown and Hello Kitty are joining some 1,000 clowns and a dozen marching bands along the parade route in Manhattan.
It’s the parade’s 90th year, and it always brings out millions of spectators. There’s also lots of security.
