Lucky lottery player hopes to win record jackpot

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – People are lining up at local gas stations and supermarkets to play for the biggest jackpot in history. The big Powerball prize has reached $800 million.
Among the people playing for a chance to win is Carl Duimstra, an Albuquerque resident who has already won the Lottery more than once.
“I’ve had a little luck, and I’m grateful,” he said.
About 12 years ago, he joined a pool with coworkers, pitching in each week as the jackpot grew.
