Long-term closures, restrictions due to Dog Head Fire

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Several long-term restrictions and closures have been issued until the end of the year as a result of the Dog Head Fire.
The US Forest Service is warning people that volitions are high with fines up to $5000 for individuals, $10,000 for organizations and/or six months of jail.
Stage II fire restrictions have been implemented on the Mountainair Ranger District of Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands. The following are prohibited:
