Lobos pounded by Boise State

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Boise State came into University Stadium Friday night with a score to settle against New Mexico. Afterall, it was the Lobos who took a victory on the blue turf in Boise last season. The 19th ranked Broncos got their revenge to the tune of a 49-21 thumping of the Lobos. Quarterback Brett Rypien carved up the Lobo defense for 391 yards and five touchdowns before exiting the game early.
