Lawsuit: Art work injured Durango woman

DURANGO, Col. (KRQE) – The City of Durango will be settling a lawsuit after a woman was injured by a piece of falling art.
According to the Durango Herald, the lawsuit says Shaohong Deng was watching her child on the climbing wall at the Durango Rec. center back in 2013 when a piece of art, that looked like a kite, fell from the ceiling and hit Deng in the head.
She suffered injuries to her shoulder, neck and ankle.
Under the settlement, Deng will receive nearly $7,000.
