Las Cruces ID tech describes scene after fatal deputy shooting

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – An ID technician with the Las Cruces Police Department took the stand Wednesday in Tai Chan’s murder trial.
The courtroom was shown video of the technician walking through the crime scene at the Las Cruces hotel where Chan’s partner Jeremy Martin was shot to death.
Chan has claimed he shot martin in self-defense but prosecutors say otherwise.
In court, the tech described what he saw that day including the blood, casings and bullet holes.
