Landscapers help save families from burning building

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Two families are safe thanks to the quick thinking of two landscapers. They spotted a fire at a duplex near Central and Coors Wednesday morning.
Kevin Painter and Ricardo Rodriguez were trimming some trees nearby when they noticed smoke coming from the back of the building.
They rushed to the home and banged on the door. When no one answered, they kicked it in.
Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to put out the fire out quickly.
