Kirtland Air Force Base planning for controlled burns next week

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Kirtland Air Force Base will begin controlled burns starting March 10-14. Officials said the burns will be on remote areas of the base but smoke may be visible.New Mexico Supreme Court makes ruling on governor’s ban on guns in some Albuquerque areasThey said they will take into account the current weather conditions before deciding to burn.
