Kirtland Air Force Base lifts precautionary lock down

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Officials at Kirtland Air Force Base say they were under a precautionary lock down on the west side of the base after receiving reports of an unconfirmed active shooter. That lock down has since been lifted.This happened at about 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Albuquerque Public Schools tweeted out on Wednesday that Kirtland, Wherry, and Sandia Base elementary schools are on lock down for a brief time. However, those lock downs have since been lifted.
