Jury deliberations continue in Tai Chan trial

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – The fate of former Santa Fe County Deputy Tai Chan is in the hands of a jury Tuesday.
In closing arguments Monday, prosecutors hammered home their version of why Chan shot and killed fellow Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Deputy, Jeremy Martin, in October 2014.
Prosecutors say the men fought in a Las Cruces hotel room, but Chan took it too far, shooting martin five times from behind.
