Judge sentences Albuquerque man for stealing cars

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man accused of multiple car thefts got a big break from a judge on Monday.
Christopher Dominguez faced up to 10 years behind bars, but he was sentenced to less than a year.
Albuquerque Police officers know Dominguez and his antics all too well. In September 2015, police say he tried to steal an APD bait car.
In that case, officers tracked him and the car to the Target at Uptown. From there, police say Dominguez ditched the car and tried running.
